Mangia con Mio Padrino

Mio padrino thought my mushed peas smelled like ravioli. Mommy tends to disagree.

Vintage Couture

Dingle balls are cool...

Mommy put me in one of her sweet Italian dresses (circa 1970)... orange, green, stiff knit, dingle balls to boot. I looked awesome! Sure, I couldn't move my arms much, but nobody said being a fashionista was easy!

Go IU!

Daddy and I watched an IU basketball game together-- I am dressed in my IU pajamas, courtesy of Mama Vi. For once, Daddy didn't scream profanities into the television. IU won!!

Sophia's "koukla"

OPA!
Aunt Sophia and I had lunch today. She pinched my cheeks and humored my constant amusement with throwing things...

I think I'll keep her around.

A Day in the Life...

What do you do on your average day??

The Plane Goes Left, then Right and....

Vroom into Stella's mouth! Grampy is the ultimate baby feeding champion. He likes to tease me with a spoonful of pureed turkey and gravy by dashing it past my open, drooling mouth over and over again until I scream at the top of my lungs in demand of my feast. I sure love these quality moments.

My Grammy Can Drink Your Grammy Under the Table!

Sometimes when Grammy has one too many tequila shots (okay, so she might have been dared by my inebriated uncles and dad while dining at Ernesto's this past weekend), she likes to "wig" me with random piles of hair. She is anxiously awaiting the appearance of my tuft. Unable to control her patience, Grammy likes to use mops, towels, doll hair, even her own hair (as shown in picture) to dream about a Stella con capelli. Eat your heart out world!

Hachoo!

Eight months has proven to be an eventful month. Ms. Stella Josephine is growing like a weed and as active as ever... so active that at one of her "playdates" she contracted a nasty cold. Such is life. It is hard, however, for M&D to watch their little bub cough and snort and struggle to drink her usually, much-demanded "baba." Thank GOD for Baby Tylenol. Here are some shots of the bug, fighting her bug. Rosy cheeks are so cute, but not when they're from snot/drool chapping. From what Mom and Dad understand, the fun is just beginning. Once preschool begins, the real illnesses ensue. Have you ever heard of hand-and-foot-disease? Wow. That's all I got to say.

Genius Child... we're not biased...

Tasty Book
Okay, so she might prefer eating the book versus reading it, but Mommy couldn't resist taking some candids while Daddy did his obligatory bedtime story. Very cute.

My Pooch

Coco is my bestest friend... We gave her a much needed bath today. She was none too pleased. Maybe next time we can bathe together!

Happy Birthday, Auntie T!! (and Zachary)

This past week I had quite the party schedule. Auntie Taryn turned 24 and Zachary Rau turned 1. Talk about excitement, people. The Waterboy one night, the Rau house the next day, I was pooped come Sunday (literally and figuratively). In these pics, you can see my new friends Ellie and Zachary.

Happy New Year's!!!

HERE'S TO A GREAT YEAR...

This year, my New Year's resolution is to walk and to stop drooling so much...oh, and to stop trying to eat my friends. As you can see from the pictures, I found Lily rather appetizing. Mom, Dad, Mr. & Mrs. Govenar and Lily & I went to Zocalo for New Year's eve. I wanted to party until midnight, but M&D only lasted until 10pm. Party poopers!
